I’ve been with this company for almost 8 years and their tech-support is ridiculous. You cannot get in touch with anybody. They have issues with their website when it comes to allowing I’ve been with this company for almost 8 years and they’re tech-support is ridiculous. You cannot get in touch with anybody. They have issues with their website when it comes to allowing your customers to select shipping options. It intermittently disappears and in order to fix it, you have to reset some stuff on the website, but often when you do that it won’t reset, this means you cannot sell anything on the website. You cannot call tech-support and if you send a work ticket, it takes one to two days for them to get back in touch with you. I would definitely shop elsewhere and let this company finish going bankrupt.

I typically like to wait until I have been with a company for a while, or I have left a company before leaving a review, but I would like to express my gratitude for all of the opportunity I have had so far to learn, train others, spearhead projects as well as experience what seems so far to be the most  positive culture within a company that I have experienced.

Speaking of positive, a lot of positive changes are happening at Volusion, and I look forward to seeing everything they are doing come to fruition. Their platform already outperforms competitors' when it comes to performance, and they are the only e-commerce platform/company that has an in-house digital agency.

On top of that, this agency not only helps customers on their own platform, they help customers on their competitor's platforms as well. Many of Volusion's customers have been on their digital marketing programs for many years.

How can I start? A company that miss lead their client prospect to obtain a sale.
Just like I say first is a Google review so all consumers see step by step how they do it. So don't fail for it!

Sorry but I will move forward with a different call or complaint against your company. Due to the misleading product that sold to me, and did not work for my type of business. Including with a bad online review to your company, and a business bureau complaint. The good thing is that I have all records of calls, emails, and messages from day one.
I was very clear and specific with Rey Espinosa; that I am a car dealership and an operating business, not just a new venture like you guys are used to. We did a video conference call with google meeting that Rey Espinosa was part of. Which I saved the salesperson presentation. Where I expressed all my concerns before I decided to make the purchase. ( Feel free to check with him on this fact)

First, I told him that my software IDMS was going to send an automatic feed every night to update and keep up with the inventory through a HTML Feed. Which he said that the website was capable of this feature. ( This never happen)

Secondly, the website was supposed to be active within two weeks from sign up. ( This never happen )

Third, The website was supposed to include all my previous seo links that I had in place to be linked to you guy's website. ( This never happen )

Including the carfax/autocheck report to be integrated on all my inventory, so customers can see the vehicle history. ( This never happen)

Fourth, SEO was going to take effect as I specified, on a report that I attached to an email with a list of links from my previous website provider; that will help redirect the traffic to the hosting. ( This never happen )

Fifth, on April 10th after I noticed that some of the facts did not took place I sent an email to Rey Espinosa, requesting my formal cancellation. Then I received a call from Brian saying that he will be the one helping me to build my site; he mention that some of the services that Rey offered me was not correct, that you guys don't have the capability to received my inventory automatically.

Sixth, the Facebook store was supposed to be set up and we did set it up with your support department but it never worked. ( This never happen )

I was told by Rey to give it few weeks until it was built so I can try the site and see how it works. So, I gave the chance to Rey and Brian so they can deliver the product.

Then, I received a call from your support department with instructions how to upload my inventory and how to manage my page and make changes 1 on 1 with me on the phone. At all times I was expressing my frustration with the support department; all calls are recorded for your records. The support department told me that I must transfer my domain to the new page so they can finish setting everything up and I can redirect my traffic to the new website. So I called Go Daddy my provider so we can get the transfer going and to help us get it accomplished. Which was, what your support department asked me to do. THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE.

Since that day I loss an enormous amount of business due to my traffic not being redirected to the new website; you can also see on your company records ALL my calls, almost on a daily basis to your support department asking for help because my clients could't find my website links, vehicle details, or updated inventory etc.
So, let me know if you need more reasons to show you that your company MADE a big mistake with my account. I hope we can resolve this matter now that you have all the facts and I have all the records, to proceed with my cancellation.
I am looking for a full refund of my money. Nothing else, otherwise I will proceed with all complaints as I expressed in the begging of this email.

My experience with Volusion has been horrible. I would never EVER do business with them. Too many instances of poor support and customer service. Their cancellation will milk an extra month out of you if you aren't careful. Read the fine contract!

It's legal how they milk you, but HIGHLY unethical. It's the little things that make me wish this company goes out of business. I'm a super nice person, but this company did milk my money and push my button.

TLDR: Poor product, poor service, poor ethics, continue to bill after canceling, run the other direction.
The company signs you up easily, all through Volusion, then when you are ready to cancel (due to poor product and worse customer service), confirms you have "canceled your order with Volusion" only to continue billing you ~$63 for months. When you contact them about continuing to bill post cancellation, they inform you that you have to double cancel through two different parts of their company, and they are going to bill you again, and then charge you an additional $99 to stop the additional billing. Commitment length (unmentioned when you sign up) is 3 years. The product did not perform in the first place. Customers trying to purchase on mobile would get an error page, even though mobile capability is part of the service you are paying for. Several customers reached out to me informing me of the problem when they were trying to purchase and I ultimately lost their business. I informed Volusion and no efforts were made to resolve the issue. It persisted as a flaw in the product till the end.
Password change is required, but there is a bug with the process, so every time you are required to change your password you get locked out and can only gain access by customer service letting you back in, which requires a ticket process which takes several days, up to a week, and rendered my site unaccessible during critical Cyber Monday weekend.
If you are considering a merchant site, BigCommerce and Square provide a better product with better business practices. Complaints for bad business are aplenty if you look up Volusion on the BBB. Save your sanity, save your wallet, save your business: don't do it.

I've had lots of experience with Big Commerce, 3D cart, Magento, even Slopify. Volusion seems to be the only one that works well anymore and doesn't try to rip you off. These guys really help you when you need it and seem to genuinely care about your success. Been with them like 3 years and I'm not going anywhere else.

Clunky. That sums up my experience with Volusion as an e-commerce platform. My skills are about mid level for developing websites. The Volusion platform is clunky and not intuitive. After four months of struggle to make my e-commerce site look minimally attractive I closed the account and have been using a competitor for four months with much less hassle.
