I took the classes 8 years ago, they were easy and for the most part helpful. However, I did not get taught a couple of forms, for charting that I needed to know. Also, getting email responses back from the instructor is difficult. I do love being an activity director and this was a good basics course.

The class was great and I even had the certification through the University but I am struggling to get an activity director position. They are saying my certification isn’t enough and I need other certification with it. Do you know what that means and what type they are referring to? How long is the certification good for, and does it expire? Will you send an actual certificate other than the electronic? I worked really hard in this course and felt great about it making a 99.4 in the class, yet I am still struggling to find a position as an activity director.
Thanks for the class it was great to learn what I thought I needed to know to change my profession.

I feel like this course only prepared me for half of the things I needed. It was a great course for some of the longer tasks. Filling water cups, catheters, how to take off and on wheelchair pedals, and head rests. I feel like it focused to much on how to change a bed rather then day to day activities you need to do as a CNA. I really would have liked if it showed more of how to take vitals (especially blood pressure) Overall it is a good course with great videos. Honestly just lacking a lot of the main tasks.

I've been with we care online classes for about 3 times during the 2 yrs of the license expired. I really enjoy the 10-hour online courses I think every 2 years it's a little something different but you are improving and I like that. I love the discussions the games and I like to hear what other students are talking about during the discussions, I like the test and quizzes.

Great experience, and the classes are done online, gave us a chance to do school work when you are able too! The only thing is waiting 10 days to get your certification to be posted on your registry, and some place will not let you pass meds intill it is on your state registry.

I’m very much satisfied with the We Care programs I’ve participated in. Everything is layed out and easy to navigate. Instructors are also easy to communicate with. Over all I had a great experience with getting certified in both Nursing Assistant and Medication Administration certifications.

I took a self paced course so the maximum amount of time you get is like 4 weeks but you could honestly finish it in a week. The online part and the book were both easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend.
